Jersey Boys on Broadway X BCA Month

What's poppin all my Weekenders?!

I hope all is well with everyone...I hope everyone has enjoyed their Weekend (even Giants fans...sorry about y'all loss but big up to all my Cowboy fans)...anyway...

I was able to enjoy Jersey Boys on Broadway this weekend with my family.  I asked via Facebook about a month ago if Jersey Boys was worth it cause I was going to buy tickets for my mother's birthday (Broadway tickets are NOT CHEAP y'all...so I was just making sure).  I got all positive feedback and I will tell you guys this...it's an excellent show! It's the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, if you aren't really familiar.  The trials that this group went through was crazy but the main thing I got out of it was to keep GRINDIN'... If you want something and are so passionate about something...you guys have to go for it, fearlessly.  Be encouraged cause there will be ups and downs on your journey, but it will be so worth it.

I also attend Abundant Life Family Worship Church in New Brunswick and the message that my Bishop preached today was "Courage to Change".
Again, the main point to me was:

  • Do Not to give up
  • God is still available to you
  • Your Courage is coming
BE ENCOURAGED my Weekenders.  I pray that this touches and helps someone going through some things.  Please email me at WaBoogie89@gmail.com if any of you need extra prayer or anything in that nature.  I am also available to you.

I also did a look dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Ralph Lauren Pinpoint Oxford  Shirt- Pink with White Collar
Ralph Lauren Aviator Navy Blue Skinny Fit Chino Pants
Ralph Lauren Dress Socks
Women's Brown Double Monk Strap Shoes
Coach Brown Belt with Gold Trim
Navy Blue Army UrbanOutfitter Jacket

I hope you are all encouraged and enjoyed.  Keep posted for the next !

Thanks for the Support and God Bless!!

It's Been Awhile...

Hello People...

I know it's been about 2 years or so since I touched my blog.  I use to write in this thing all the time and post random pictures of anything.  I went back...cleaned some stuff up...and wanted to start putting stuff up again, even if no one reads it! haha.  So as many of you know or don't know, I LOVE God, Family, Fashion, Music, Dance, and anything cool really.  These subjects that I love will be the main things I write/take/showcase pictures on.

Why "The Weekender"?

Well...now that I got old and gray lol...not really...anyway now that I am working full-time in New York City, its very hard to do anything that I "love" (stated above) on weekdays, how I use to when I was just a bum student at Rutgers University.  I was able to stay up at 4AM and wake up at 1PM and do great things creatively.  Well real life hit, and I can't do that as I once did, except on the "The Weekend".  Sometimes I tell people I live a double cause, technically I do.  I work in the healthcare industry during the day and at night, I'm trying to be the next superstar some way some how (not really...just trying to do something through the arts that I "love").

Here is the first thing I'll share. Fashion is a way to express yourself through clothing.  I fake want to be a model sometimes, so I did a shoot incorporating my day and night..during the day I am a professional, sporting mostly dress pants and dress shirts for work, which is exemplified in my first look.  During the night I wear...whatever the heck I feel like from Jordans, Nike, Adidas and Timbs and clothing brands from Obey, BBC, Supreme or whatever local up and coming brand...(my second look)...

Well I hope you enjoy this one.
I'll keep you posted on my next joint.

God Bless
